What's open
Four route slots are unassigned as of 2026-05-08. Two are inside Loop 610 (one in Third Ward, one in Heights). Two are in Spring Branch and Bellaire respectively. We will fill the inside-Loop slots first; outside-Loop slots may carry over to Q3 if intake doesn't close them by June 1.
Notes from the season so far
The new NFPA-96 (2025) language on digital documentation has changed exactly nothing about how we work — we have been on digital records since opening — but it has changed our conversation with new clients, who are now asking up-front about retention and portal access. Five of the 14 routes this quarter are new clients who came in specifically because of the digital-documentation change.
The hot weather has come early. April static-pressure readings at the dining-room boundary are running 18% more negative on average than the same week in 2025, suggesting that a number of operators have already kicked their cooling systems on at higher load. We have flagged six clients for an early summer balancing visit.
What's coming
Q3 — Summer 2026 — opens July 1. Intake walks for new Q3 clients are being scheduled now. Expected operator demand is high; we project that we will hold around 16 routes open for Q3 with one hire ahead of summer.
